COMMENTS SOUGHT ON DRUG TESTING

The Virginia Department of Labor and Industry will hold an open meeting Monday at 7 p.m. at Wytheville Community College for public comment on drug testing in the workplace.

The comments will become part of a study covering the economic, legal and technological aspects of employment-related drug testing for which the General Assembly is considering legislation.

The session will be in the Bland Hall auditorium. Other meetings on the topic will be in Norfolk and Charlottesville. - Southwest bureau
