OBIT BUSH, CARL E.

BUSH, Carl E. ("Jack"), 71, of Roanoke, died Sunday, August 8, 1993. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Marie Bush. Mr. Bush was retired from Norfolk & Western Railway, with over 30 years of service in the Call Office at Schaeffers Crossing. He was associated with Victory Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Carol B. Crawford, Roanoke; two grandchildren, Lisa C. Anderson and husband, Clarke W., Charlotte, N.C., Gary L. (Bubby) Crawford, Roanoke; one great-granddaughter, Lindsay Brooke Crawford; a special "second daughter", Mary Lou, Roanoke; one sister, Frances Louise Hopcroft, Radford; two brothers, Arthur R. (Pete) Bush and Melvin R. Bush, both of Roanoke. Funeral services will be at Oakey's North Chapel, 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Butch Hamned officiating. Interment to follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
