IMMUNIZATIONS BY APPOINTMENT

Beginning this month, the Montgomery County Health Department will provide all immunizations for adults and children by appointment only.

The health department initiated this change to reduce the amount of time patients spend waiting at the daytime clinics.

Several walk-in immunization clinics will be scheduled during evening hours throughout the year.

The health department will continue to provide immunizations for infants, preschoolers, school-aged children and adults, including those who are planning foreign travel.
