STEVEN ERIC FORD, a graduate student at the College of William and Mary, has received a $6,000 scholarship from the National Center for State Courts.

Ford is the son of Jean Umberger and Gary Ford of Radford.

\ REBECCA MURRAY, daughter of Lynda Murray and the late Frank Murray of Blacksburg, has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Penn.

Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., has named SCOTT EDWARD HABEEB to its dean's list for the spring semester.

Habeeb, a graduate of Christiansburg High School, was the 1992 Youth Governor of Virginia.

\ KIMBERLY MATTOX, a rising sophomore at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, N.C., has been awarded a Sophia Witt Scholarship for the 1993-94 school year.

Mattox is the daughter of James and Nancy Mattox of Christiansburg.
