SMALL-BUSINESS MANAGEMENT CLASSES

New River Community College will offer four classes leading to a certificate in small-business management during the school's fall semester, which begins Aug. 23.

The classes, at the Dublin campus, will cover how to start and operate a business, using the computer as a tool for efficiency, and all about taxes.

"Entrepreneurship," BUS-116, will be offered in two sessions, either Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9:30-10:45 a.m., or Wednesday evenings from 6:30-9:10.

"Small Business Management," BUS-165, will be offered as an independent and distance learning class.

"Microcomputer Applications in Business," BUS-226, will be offered Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-3:15 p.m., or Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30-8:45 p.m.

"Small Business Taxes," ACC-134, will meet Mondays, 6:30-8:15 p.m.
