Fisher, a 29-year-old former town employee with a wife and three children, is gravely ill. Money raised during Jeff Fisher Day will go to pay his medical bills.
Several activities are scheduled during the day in front of the Old Narrows High School. There will be a bake sale, 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and several bands will perform:
\ 9-10:30 a.m. The Silver Eagle Band.
\ 10:30 a.m.-noon Ivory Night.
\ Noon-1:30 p.m. Southern Country.
In case of rain, all activities will be moved inside Old Narrows High School.
Evening events at Narrows Town Park get under way at 5 p.m., and will include an auction of donated items as well as more live musical performances:
\ 5-6 p.m. Split Second (country rock).
\ 6-7 p.m. Judy Richardson and Blue Rose Band.
\ 7-8 p.m. The Nippers (gospel music).
\ 8-9 p.m. Bad Habitz (country rock.
\ 9:30-10:30 p.m. Shadow Riders (country rock).
\ 10:30-midnight Good Time Express (country).
