RADFORD HERITAGE FOUNDATION MEETING

The Radford Heritage Foundation will hold a formal organizational meeting and election Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the First National Bank community room. The foundation has been operating under a temporary committee since May.

The foundation is being established to find ways to preserve Radford's past and present and to make that history available to tourists, researchers and others through museums, events, audio-visual media and other means.

Bylaws have been drafted and the foundation is seeking tax-exempt status.

People who join the foundation before Jan. 1 will be designated as charter members.
