COUGAR BAND BOOSTERS SEEK UNIFORMS, INSTRUMENTS, SCHOLARSHIPS

The Pulaski County High School Band Boosters have launched an ambitious fund-raising program for the next two years.

They will try to raise about $60,000 for new uniforms for the school's Marching Band, $17,000 to replace and buy new instruments and $2,000 to establish annual scholarships for band students. Presentations on the effort were made to the Pulaski Lions Club and Pulaski County School Board earlier this week, and meetings with other civic groups and agencies are planned.

The fund raising for these programs will be in addition to the Band Boosters' regular money-making efforts from concessions, student sales and band shows.
