OBIT AYERS, DANIEL T.

AYERS, Daniel T. 82, of Goodview, died Thursday, August 12, 1993. He was employed 29 years with American Viscose Corporation and retired from Vinton Weaving Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Cornelia Ayers. Surviving are his sons and daughters in-law, Daniel T. Ayers, Jr. and wife, Anna of Goodview, Clarence R. Ayers of Goodview, Harold D. Ayers and wife, Peggy of Vinton, Melvin D. Ayers and wife, Susan of Vinton, Jesse J. Ayers and wife, Jill of Goodview; daughter, Nancy Ayers English of Goodview; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. A. C. Hollins, Jr. and Rev. Joey Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon Saturday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
