Monica Nicole Cromer and Samuel Wickham Lloyd were married August 14, 1993
in Main Street Baptist Church, Christiansburg. The officiating clergyman was
Rev. Pete duPlessis assisted by Rev. Raymond Klaiber. The reception was held
at the Moose Lodge in Christiansburg. The maid of honor was Sandra Sowers,
friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Kristal Fulcher, Kandee Hall and
Tammy Ogle, all friends of the bride. Flowergirls were Natasha Martin and
Brittany Martin, nieces of the bride. The best man was Mark Lloyd, brother of
the groom. The ushers were JonathanCromer, brother of the bride, RogerClaxton,
friend of the groom, andMatthew Phillips, brother of the bride. Ringbearer was
C. J. Cromer, nephew of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Melanie
Colley, friend of the bride.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Cromer of Floyd, Va. and Mr.
and Mrs. David Phillips of Christiansburg, Va. She is a graduate of
Christiansburg High School and the College of Health Sciences. The bride is
employed by Community Hospital of the Roanoke Valley as aregistered nurse.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Lloyd of Christiansburg, is a
graduate of Christiansburg High School and East Tennessee State University. He
is employed by Poly-Scientific in Blacksburg. The newlyweds will live in
Christiansburg after the wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico.
