WIMMER-ELLIS

Nicole Lynn Ellis and Brian Wayne Wimmer were united in Christian marriage on August 14, 1993, at Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Tupper Garden officiating. The double ring ceremony took place at 1:00 in the afternoon, with the reception following at the home of the bride's parents. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Nicole is the daughter of O.W. and Norma Ellis, of Chamblissburg. She is the granddaughter of Albert and Margaret Brooks, of Moneta, and Neva and the late Sam Ellis, of Salem. Nicole is a graduate of Staunton River High School and Virginia Western Community College. She will graduate from Radford University School of Nursing in May 1994. She is employed by Community Hospital. Brian is the son of Wayne and Betty Wimmer, of Botetourt. He is the grandson of Delpha Tolbert and the late Harry Tolbert, of Roanoke, and Pauline Wimmer, also of Roanoke. Brian is a graduate of Roanoke Valley Christian School and is employed by the Radisson Hotel.

The maid of honor was Jennifer Wimmer, sister of the groom. The matron of honor was Michelle Wilcox, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Heather Fox and Jenelle Jeansonne, friends of the bride, and Lisa Wertz, cousin of the bride. The flowergirl was Katelin Cook, cousin of the bride. The guestbook attendant was Wendy Wertz, cousin of the bride.

The best man was Wayne Wimmer, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Scott Wilcox, brother-in-law of the bride, Sean Hartless, John Schultz, and Christian Browe, friends of the groom. The ringbearer was Dustin Wilcox, nephew of the bride.

The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after a wedding trip to Emerald Isle. Special thanks to Betty Stanford and Linda Anderson.
