STONE ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Dillard Stone celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary, August 15, 1993, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. A dinner, hosted by their only daughter, Jane Parker and family, was served to celebrate this momentous occasion.

The couple were married on August 17, 1943, and have resided in Christiansburg most of their married life. Mr. Stone, formally from Floyd, Va., is a World War II veteran and is retired from Hercules, Inc. Mrs. Stone is the former Lura Dean Vest of Check, Va. They have 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
