The Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic has been moved from Hattiesburg, Miss., to Annandale Country Club in Madison. Mississippi's only PGA Tour event not only has a new home, but it has been given a new date and a new purse of a minimum of $500,000.

Tournament director Robert Morgan said the main reason for the move was the bank's desire to see the tournament raise the purse, attract larger crowds and eventually gain official-victory status like the million-dollar events.
