LOW-COST GLASSES OFFERED FOR KIDS

The Eye Care Optometric Center, 29 W. Main St., is offering $1 vision screening and low-cost frame-and-lenses package for children under 18 on Saturday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. McGruff the Crime Dog will be giving out safety tips between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The dollars collected will be donated to the Christiansburg Police Department for the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program in the schools. For an appointment, call 381-2020.
