PULASKI CHAMBER'S AUCTION SATURDAY

An auction offering items ranging from a five-night vacation in Myrtle Beach to framed art prints by P. Buckley Moss is scheduled, along with a buffett, for Saturday at New River Community College.

The annual event is a major fund-raiser for the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce.

The auction will start at 5 p.m. and continue until everything is sold. Pit-cooked beef and trimmings will be served from 5 to 7 p.m., while a silent auction will be running.

Other items to be sold at auction include a trip for two to Boston, a golf weekend at Houndslake Country Club, Williamsburg vacation for four, used car and truck, antique Singer sewing machine, antique wood-burning cook stove, collectible baseball cards and more.

Tickets are $10, or $15 per couple. They are available at the chamber office in the Pulaski Municipal Building or by writing the chamber at P.O. Box 169, Pulaski, Va. 24301.
