CLAYTOR LAKE ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL

The 15th annual Claytor Lake Arts and Crafts Festival, sponsored by the Virginia Mountain Crafts Guild, will be held Labor Day weekend at the state park. Hours are Sept. 4, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sept. 5, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sept. 6, noon-6 p.m. The festival includes demonstrations, exhibits and sale of regional arts and crafts, food booths and musical performances.

Some of the proceeds go to a scholarship for a young artisan pursuing a career in arts and crafts. Admission is free; parking is $2. Call 674-5492.
