OBIT RILEY, ESTHER JONES

RILEY, Esther Jones, 75, of Roanoke, died Sunday, August 15, 1993. She is survived by her husband, Cecil Claude Riley Sr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra R. and Patrick T. McCorkel, Roanoke; a stepson, Cecil C. Riley Jr., Pittston, Pa.; three brothers, Lester (Runt) Jones, Lewis (Scoot) Jones, Cecil (Buck) Jones, all of Roanoke County; three sisters, Isabelle J. Spencer, Roanoke County, Elizabeth J. Sult, Charlotte, N.C., Dorothy J. Perry, Baltimore, Md.; and four grandchildren, Christopher Riley, David McCorkel, Melissa McCorkel, Matthew McCorkel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. H. Kelly Dampeer Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
