OBIT STEFFEY, MARY KENT

STEFFEY, Mary Kent, 81, of Roanoke, died Monday, August 16, 1993. She was retired from Tultex. Surviving are a sister, Ruth Steffey Goff of Roanoke; nephew and nieces, Johnny Franklin, Alice McCann, Ruth Mermiller, Shirley Blevins, Nancy Gardner and Judy McCumberland, all of the Baltimore, Md. area; also surviving are several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 1993, with Dr. L. Ray Board officiating. Graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mountain View Cemetery, Rural Retreat, Va., with Rev. C. J. Tate officiating. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel on Tuesday after noon.
