OBIT BASS, MARGARET ELLEN GILL

BASS, Margaret Ellen Gill, Esquire, of Montclair, N.J., died Wednesday, August 11, 1993. She was formerly of Roanoke. Mrs. Bass was a retired Chief of the Buraeu of Enforcement-South, New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety. She is survived by two children, Andrew Bass Jr. of Houston, Texas, Ms Gill Ellen Bass of Montclair, N.J.; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Freda Bass; three grandchildren, Jackson Young, Drew Bass and Callie Bass; an aunt, Mrs. Louise Gill of Roanoke; and other loving relatives. Services were held Saturday, August 14, at 11 a.m. at Martin's Home for Service, Montclair, N.J. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 21, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Park. Dr. Kenneth B. Wright will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the United Negro College Fund. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
