HENRY COUNTY CRASH KILLS BASSETT DRIVER

A 30-year-old Bassett man was killed Monday night when he lost control of his car on Virginia 108 in Henry County, state police said.

Larry Monroe Collins was pronounced dead at the scene of the 9:05 p.m. accident after his car slid off the road in a wide curve, topped an embankment and overturned, according to the Virginia State Police.

No other car was involved in the accident, and no other injuries were reported.
