NEWCOMERS CLUB TO RESUME MEETINGS

The Blacksburg Newcomers Club resumes meetings on Sept. 14 at 9:30 a.m. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church at Prices Fork and Toms Creek roads.

The group welcomes all newcomers who have lived in Blacksburg three years or less. Monthly meetings include refreshments, socializing and a speaker.

The newcomers' club participates in civic activities and has several special interest groups with meetings throughout the month.
