Cindy is the daughter of Mrs. Helen S. Ratcliffe and the late Mr. Emmett E. Ratcliffe. She graduated from Radford University and received her master'sdegree in education from Virginia Tech. She is employed by the Roanoke CityPublic Schools.

Chuck is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jack Stanley. He attendedVirginia Tech and is employed by Moore's Building Supplies.
