ALDRIDGE-MCDANIEL
Melissa Gail McDaniel and Lt.Fredrick David Aldridge were married August
14, 1993, in First Evangelical Methodist Church. Rev. Jim Burks performed the
ceremony. The reception was held in the church fellowship hall. The maid of
honor was Laura Foster, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were April Hamby,
friend of the bride, Sherry Aldridge, sister-in-law of the bride, and Melissa
Cox, friend of the bride. The best man was John Christian, friend of the
groom. Ushers were Marty Dodson, friend of the groom, Richard Aldridge, Jr.,
brother of the groom, and Tom Perrault, friend of the groom. The guestbook was
attended by Dreama Woolridge. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
McDaniel and Patricia Green, of Salem. She graduated from Glenvar High School,
from Radford University, and is employed by Lynchburg City Schools. The groom
is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dennis Aldridge, of Salem. He graduated from
Glenvar High School, from Virginia Military Institute, and is a 2nd Lieutenant
in the U.S. Air Force. After the wedding trip to Charleston, South Carolina,
the newlyweds will live in Lynchburg, Va.
