CRANE-SHELOR

Cynthia Marie Shelor and John Talbot Crane were married August 14, 1993, in Salem Church of Christ, with Jim Herron, Minister, officiating. The reception was held at Roanoke Country Club. The bride's best friend, Beth Jones Fobare, wasmatron of honor. The bridesmaids were Cindy Morgan Shelor and Cindy MayShelor, sisters-in-law of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Emily Neubig andAlicia Neubig, nieces of the groom.Flowergirl was Jessica Shelor, niece of the bride. The groom's best friend, Mark Pohl, was best man. The ushers wereBarry Shelor and Jeff Shelor, brothers of the bride; and Ron Childress, friend.Ringbearer was Matthew Shelor, the bride's nephew. The candlelighters were Jason Shelor and Chris Reeves. Thewedding document was attended by Linda Lugene Smith. The program attendants were Corey Fobare and Patrick Fobare. Ceremony readings were by Jack Briggs. The bride's gown was white silk shantung accented with seed pearls, iridescentsequins and re-embroidered Alencon lace. It had a sweetheart neckline, leg-o-mutton sleeves detailed with daintyrosettes and fitted bodice. The full skirt featured an elaborate peplum adorned with rosettes and the semi-cathedral train was edged with an exquisite border of Alencon lace. The matching headpiece of three rosettes lightly touched with pearl peps had two layers of cathedral length illusion. She carried a cascading bouquet of bridal white roses, gardenia, Queen Anne's lace and ivy. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Harvey Shelor of Salem. She is a graduate of Salem High School, and attended Roanoke College and Radford University. She is employed by LDDS Communications, Inc. as Account Relations Manager. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Talbot H. Crane of Wilmington, Delaware. He is a graduate of The Tatnall School, Delaware, and Guilford College, Greensboro, N.C. He is employed by VSA of Carolina as Field Account Manager. The newlyweds will live in Greensboro, N.C., after the honeymoon to Aspen, Colorado and The Village at Nags Head, N.C.
