FITZPATRICK-GARRETT
Leah Garrett and Arthur Lawrence Fitzpatrick were married July 17, 1993, in
St. Johns Episcopal Church, with Rector Al Perkins officiating. The reception
was held at The Montgomery Country Club. The bride was given in marriage by
her brother, Todd William Garrett. The bride's college roommate, Jennifer
Skaggs, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Cox, Catherine
Smith, Wendy Webb, Aimee Hagedorn, Katy Leopard, Dawn Helms, AshleyWinkler,
Meg Jenkins, and Janet Woller. The best man was Clement TranumFitzpatrick,
Jr., father of the groom. The ushers were C.T. Fitzpatrick, III, brother of
the groom; Shep Chambers and Dee Fitzpatrick, cousins; Keith Frazer, Mark
James, Mark Hope, Alan Taylor, Bill McGowin, Hunter Chambliss, CliffLanier,
Galen Thackston, and Ty Powell. The candlelighter was Ryan Seibels. The bride
wore a gown of white silk shantung and Alencon lace with a sweetheart neckline
and cap sleeves, embellished with pearls and sequins. The bodice was basque
and the skirt was A-line extending to a chapel train. The bride is the
daughter of Mrs. Davis Garland Garrett, Jr. ofMontgomery, Ala., and the late
Dr. Davis Garland Garrett, Jr. She is a graduate of Birmingham Southern
College and isemployed by Montgomery Environmental Marketing. The groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Clement Tranum Fitzpatrick, Jr. of Montgomery Ala. He is a
graduate of the University of Alabama and Georgia State in Atlanta, and is
employed by Montgomery Environmental Marketing. The newlywed are living in
Montgomery, Alabama, after their wedding trip to The Cloister at Sea Island,
Ga.
