IZARD-DUNNING

The wedding of Miss Anne Robertson Dunning, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Archibald Robertson Dunning, Jr. of Boyce, Virginia, to Mr. William Bolling Izard, Jr., son of Mr. William Bolling Izard, of Roanoke, and the late Sarah Vest Izard, of Roanoke, took place on the twenty sixth of June in Old Chapel, Millwood, Virginia, with Rev. James Muldowney officiating. The wedding reception took place at Caveland Farm, the home of the bride's parents.

Mrs. Clarke Ohrstrom, the bride'ssister, served as matron of honor.Bridesmaids were Miss Elizabeth Ross Dunning, Miss Virginia Burwell Dunning, and Miss Tyler Latham Geist, all of New York City, Miss Kara Anne O'Brien, of Charlottesville, and Heather Winifred Anderson, of Winchester.

William Bolling Izard, the groom's father, served as best man. Ushers were James Johnston Izard II, the bridegroom's brother, of Norfolk, Gilbert Eugene Butler, Jr., Thomas Christopher Moore, and Abney Saunders Boxley III, all of Roanoke, Clarke Ohrstrom, of The Plains, and Robert Christopher Teter, of Atlanta, Ga.

Flower girls were the bridegroom's nieces, Sarah Gordon Valentine, of Richmond, Sarah Elise West and Anna Bolling West, of Charleston, S.C. Ringbearers were the bride's cousins, William Jacob Oliver Dunning and Nicholas Barrington Basil Dunning, of Boyce.

The bride was graduated from Powhatan School in Boyce, Wakefield School in Huntly, and the University of Virginia, where she became a member of the Tri Delta sorority.

The bridegroom was graduated from North Cross School in Roanoke, and the University of Virginia, where he became a member of Saint Anthony Hall.

After a wedding trip to Italy, the couple will be residing in Clarke County, Virginia.
