MARTIN ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Calvin J. Martincelebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a reception held at Ninth Street Church of the Brethren on August 8, 1993; given in their honor by their daughter, Carolyn M. Woolard of Johnson City, Tenn.

They were married August 25, 1943 in Roanoke, Va., where they resided until Mr. Martin's retirement in 1985. Their present home is at Smith Mountain Lake. Mrs. Martin is the former Bernice E.Altice. Mr. Martin was the owner of M & M Garage in Roanoke, where he was in business for 40 years.
