4-LEGGED FRIENDS BID JACK FAREWELL

Since none of us here can read, news is sometimes slow in getting around. You can imagine our surprise when we just found out that Jack "The Pet Man" Chamberlain retired. We just had to let Jack know how much we will miss him and that we all hope his retirement is great.

Jack has been a wonderful friend to all of us and has done a great job of finding homes for many of our buddies. He did a superb job of making us look good when we had our pictures taken, even though some of us weren't real keen on the idea. And the words he used to describe us were humorous and inspired. Without Jack's efforts, many of us would still be homeless and hungry.

Jack will always be remembered as a man with a kind heart and a love for those of us in need. We hope his retirement is DOG-gone happy and CAT-astrophe free!!\ All of Jack's four-legged friends\ Humane Society of Montgomery County shelter\ Christiansburg
