Because of a reporter's typographical error, the number of employees at Alleghany Regional Hospital following layoffs next month was incorrect in a story in Saturday's editions. The correct number is 450.

The Greater Roanoke Transit Co. will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday, and Roanoke City Council meets at 2 p.m. Monday, both in City Council chambers in the Roanoke Municipal Building. Incorrect times were listed in Thursday's Neighbors section.
