OBIT WILLIAMS, CHARLOTTE DARLENE

WILLIAMS, Charlotte Darlene, 41, of Hot Springs, Va., died Saturday, August 21, 1993, 3:10 p.m. at her home, after an extended illness. She was a member of the Healing Springs Baptist Church and a teacher at Valley Elementary School, Bath County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Williams. She was a 1968 graduate of Webster Springs High School, W.Va., and a graduate of Glenville State College and West Virginia Wesleyan College. She is survived by two daughters, Shawnda and Marti Williams, both of Hot Springs, Va.; parents, Oren and Ruth Knicely, Diana, W.Va.; one brother, Oren Earl Knicely, Shallott, N.C.; Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, W.Va. Private family graveside services will be held Monday at the Miller Cemetery in Webster Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Carl F. Williams Scholarship Fund, care of Bath County High School, Hot Springs, Va., or the American Cancer Society.
