OBIT FREED, VIRGIE L.

FREED, Virgie L., 84, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, August 22, 1993, at Pulaski Community Hospital. Mrs. Freed was born in Montgomery County to the late Erveon and May DeHart Lytton and was preceded in death by her husband Charles Freed and a brother Fred Lytton. Surviving are four sisters, Lettie L. Kitts of Blacksburg, Irene L. Snyder of Marion, Edith L. Vores of Richmond and Verna L. Johnson of Hampton; four brothers, Lake Lytton of Hagerstown, Md., Nelson Lytton, Oakley Lytton and Elmer Lytton, all of Blacksburg; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 25, 1993, at 11 a.m. in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, Md. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
