OBIT DOUGLAS, GARY LYNN

DOUGLAS, Gary Lynn, 40, of Richmond, formerly of Salem, died Monday, August 23, 1993, in a Richmond hospital. He had been employed for Dominion Bank for several years. He was an honor graduate of Radford College. He is survived by one daughter, Lauren Michelle Douglas, Roanoke; his parents, Kermit and Peggy Douglas, Salem; one sister, Rhonda Douglas Turner, Troutville; two nieces, Erin Nicole Turner, Michelle Leigh Turner, both of Troutville; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 25, 1993, at 2 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax, with the Rev. Ted Anders and the Rev. Ken Nienke officiating. Interment will be in the Monta Vista Cemetery, Galax. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
