Folk singer John Denver failed a roadside sobriety test on his way home from an Aspen, Colo., restaurant and was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence, police said.

Denver was stopped early Saturday and released to the custody of a friend, police Sgt. Leon Murray said. A Pitkin County court hearing was scheduled for Sept. 28.

Denver's songs include "Rocky Mountain High" and "Take Me Home, Country Roads."

Burt Reynolds is willing to give Loni Anderson his $1.5 million Florida home, his $1.9 million ranch, his $1.6 million in artwork - and the $13 million she's been seeking in their divorce. But there's a catch.

First she has to take a truth serum and confess to all the affairs she has engaged in during their four-year marriage. He says he is willing to do the same.

If it turns out that she started cheating before he embarked on an affair with a Tampa waitress, he wins - and gets sole custody of their adopted son, Quinton.

In a interview for ABC's "Good Morning America: Evening Edition," which aired Tuesday, Reynolds said "I caught her cheating on me." He also said he had "not touched her, in the biblical sense, in almost three years."

Americans knew Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf as "Stormin' Norman" during the Gulf War. Longtime Army colleagues call him "The Bear." So it's appropriate that Schwarzkopf will spearhead a national group's grizzly bear recovery efforts.

Jerry Conley, chairman of the Interagency Grizzly Recovery Committee, said that as spokesman, Schwarzkopf will promote work to preserve grizzly habitats.
