OBIT SISSON, MADIE SEARS

SISSON, Madie Sears, 83, passed away early Wednesday, August 25, 1993, in a local hospital. She was the widow of Alfred K. Sisson, a lifelong resident of Salem, and a member of Salem Presbyterian Church. Survivors include two sisters, Rosa S. Houff of Roanoke, Laura S. Kesler of Salem; two brothers, Merriman Sears of Salem and Ammon Sears of Stuart. Funeral service will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 11 a.m. Friday, August 27, with the Rev. Dr. O. Leighton Culler, Pastor of Salem Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Burial Park. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
