OBIT-ASBURY, FLORA R.

ASBURY, Flora R., 83, of Roanoke, died Thursday, August 26, 1993. She was the widow of Charles J. Asbury, and was preceded in death by a son, Bobby E. Asbury, and a grandson, Jimmy Lynn Asbury. Surviving are two sons, Eudell S. Asbury, Kenneth J. Asbury, both of Roanoke; three daughters, Juanita A. Feazell, Salem, Wilma A. McDowell, Roanoke, Shirley A. Smith, Thaxton; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Vest, Mrs. Edith Gilpin, both of Bluefield, Va., Mrs. Helen Rose, Charleston, W.Va. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. James R. Millsaps officiating. Interment will be in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
