NRCC FINANCIAL AID STILL AVAILABLE

Fall semester at New River Community College is under way, but it's not too late for students to apply for tuition assistance through two of the school's financial aid programs.

Federal Pell Grants, which range from $400 to $2,300, can be obtained through the college by part-time or full-time students.

Also, students enrolled for as few as three credit hours per semester may qualify for the needs-based, Part-time Tuition Assistance Program, commonly called "Fund 1."

This money may be available to students who are ineligible for other types of financial aid.

Interested students should apply at the financial aid office in Rooker Hall. Qualified applicants can be reimbursed for tuition they've already paid.
