FIELD-MICHAEL

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas S. Field of Bedford, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Anne, to Richard Karl Michael, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby J. Michael of Bedford.

Kathleen is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garnett E. Coleman of Bedford, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Moorman Field of Bedford. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Florence S. Thompson ofBedford and the late Mr. Dante T.P. Stanford.

Richard is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J. Richard Michael of Bedford, and Mrs. Karl O. Deemer of Blacksburg, and the late Mr. Deemer.

Kathleen is a graduate of Liberty High School in Bedford, and will attend the College of Health Sciences in Roanoke this fall.

Richard is a graduate of Liberty High School in Bedford. He attended Central Virginia Community College and iscurrently serving a tour of duty inWurzburg, Germany, with the United States Army.

No date has been set for the wedding.
