BEAMAN-CONNER

Melissa Dawn Conner and Scott Ashby Beaman were married Saturday, August 28, 1993, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church by the Rev. Fr. Joseph Metzger, III. The reception was held at The Inn at Burwell Place, Salem.

The maid of honor was Amy Brown, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Nancy Beaman, Ashlee Chewning, and Anita Mouse. Kaitlin Rice was the flower girl.

The best man was Wayne Beaman, father of the groom. The ushers were Andrew Beaman, Riley Meador, and Bryan Conner. Michael Holcomb was the ringbearer.

Dawn Ferris was the program and guestbook attendant. The readings were by Erin Kelly.

Melissa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Conner, of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Northside High School and is attending the College of Health Sciences. Scott is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Beaman, of Herndon, Va. He is a graduate of William Bryd High School and is employed by P.M. Transport. After a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, the newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
