BRIDGE-POWELL

Stephanie Marie Powell and Eric Alan Bridge were married on August 14, 1993, in the wedding chapel on Peters Creek Road. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry S. Powell of Roanoke, Virginia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bridge of El Dorado Hills, California.

The ceremony was performed by Leo Rodrigue, a friend of the bride and groom. A reception followed at the Airport Marriott.

The maid of honor was Kim Powell, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Powell, sister, and Valerie Bridge, sister-in-law. Best man was Troy Bridge, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Rene Rodrigue and Tony Boring, friends of the groom. The guest book was attended by Erin Rodrigue, and Ellie Castleman was wedding director. The "Wedding Song" was beautifully sung by Sherrie Oliver and Barry Powell, aunt and uncle of the bride. The bride's bouquet and silk flower arrangement were made by Estelle Brock. Other decorations were made by Barbara Powell.

The newlyweds honeymooned at the Peaks of Otter Lodge. Both are recent graduates of Florida College and will live and work in the Roanoke area.
