KINGERY-REED

Glenette Charles Reed and Maurice Galen Kingery were united in marriage Saturday, August 28, 1993. The candlelight ceremony was held at 7 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene. The Reverend Randy Ledsome performed the ceremony. The reception was held in the Church Fellowship Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Helen Balthis, the late Mr. Frank W. Balthis and the late Mr. Hassel Charles. The groom is the son of Mr. L. E. (Sonny) Kingery and the late Mrs. Carol K. Kingery and the grandson of Mrs. C. W. (Nora) Kidd and Mr. and Mrs. V. Elmer Kingery.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother Henry Balthis. The maid of honor was Kim Bush. Honor attendants were Lynne B. Reynolds, Cindy Gibson, and Samantha Webb, friends of the bride. The flower girl was Trelisha Dawn Whitehead, niece of the groom.

The groom's best man was L. E.(Sonny) Kingery, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Michael Whitehead, brother-in-law of the groom, Cliff Gordon, uncle of the groom, Steve Gordon, Kenny Kingery, Wayne Kingery, cousins of the groom. Ring bearer was Josh Wimmer.

The bride is currently employed with BellSouth Communication Systems, Inc., as the Quality Service Administrator. The groom is employed as Vice President at Valley Wheel and Parts, Inc.

Wedding music was performed by Mrs. Trelbie Whitehead, sister of the groom, and Mr. Dean Bushnell. Organist was Mrs. Charlene Gordon, aunt of the groom. The sound equipment was coordinated by Mr. Bob Lusk. The guestbook and program attendant was Mrs. Karen Bivens. A special thanks is given to Barbara Lively, the wedding director.

Following the wedding trip, the couple will reside in Roanoke County.
