NORVILLE-CRAWFORD

Kelly Jean Crawford and Michael Scott Norville were united in marriage on Saturday, August 28, 1993, at the Belmont Baptist Church, Roanoke, Va. The Rev. Wayne Harrison was the officiating minister. A reception was held at the Vinton War Memorial following the ceremony.

The maid of honor was Shannon Hall of Clifton Forge, best friend of the bride. There were two bride matrons, Shannon Edwards of Vinton and Sharon Gibbs of Norcross, Ga., both friends of the bride. Other bridesmaids included Stephanie Halsey of Blue Ridge, cousin of the bride; Carrie Norville of Vinton, sister of groom; Jennifer Stough of Roanoke, Michelle Stough of Harrisonburg, both friends of the bride. The flower girl was Rebekah Halsey of Roanoke, cousin of the bride.

The best man was Ronnie Norville of Vinton, father of the groom. The groomsmen included Christopher Crawford of Boones Mill, brother of the bride; J. R. Edwards, Chris Fuqua, Scott Graybeal, Greg Henderson, all of Vinton and William Gibbs of Norcross, Ga., all friends of the groom. The ring bearer was Joshua Amos of Roanoke, friend of bride and groom.

The ceremony was attended by Heather Nimmo at the guestbook and Amanda and Emily Halsey. The bride was the niece of three vocalist. The groom's sister presented a solo also.

The bride wore a gown of white satin with lace, sabrina neckline that was beaded and sequined. It had a basque waistline with a brushed train. Her headpiece was made of fresh flowers. She carried a bouquet of fresh purple irises and white alstromeria.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Crawford of Boones Mill. The bride graduated from Roanoke Valley Christian School and Virginia Western College. She is employed by the Kroger Company and is a floral designer in the West Salem store.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Norville of Vinton. The groom graduated from William Byrd High School and attended Virginia Western College. He is employed by Nestle Food Company.

After a train trip to Boston, the couple will reside in Vinton. A special thanks to Roxanne Lawson, director, Judith Deos, organist and King Photography.
