PHILLIPS-MATHERLY

Julie Elaine Matherly and Bradford John Phillips were married July 17, 1993, in West Radford Church of God, Radford, with the Rev. K.B. Arnold officiating the 2:00 p.m. double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of John N. Matherly and Ms. Patricia V. Matherly of Christiansburg. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Phillips of Riner, and Mrs. Carol Boehmler of Fairfax. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin gown with appliques of sequins and pearls and matching hat. The chapel train hung from a large bow. She carried a bouquet of peach and ivory roses. The matron of honor was Leigh Anne Davidson, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Connie S. Hall, friend of the bride; and Stephanie Boehmler, sister of the groom. The best man was Brian Burton, friend of the groom. The ushers were Calvin Hall, friend of the groom; and Donnie Williams, cousin of the groom. Christin Price, cousin of the groom, was flowergirl. The ringbearer was Justin Price, cousin of the groom. The bride is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and attended New River Community College. She isemployed by Wal-Mart Pharmacy. The groom is a graduate of Auburn High School and is employed by Federal Mogal. After their wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, they are living in Christiansburg.
