CARTER ANNIVERSARY

Clarence and Mildred Carter celebrated their 50th anniversary August 22, 1993. A reception was held at the Red Hill Church of the Brethren. The couple was married on August 23, 1943, in Roanoke. She is the former Mildred Campbell. They have a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Pat Carter of Boones Mill, Va.; and a granddaughter, Frances Carter, of Gorizia, Italy. Mr. Carter retired from the Norfolk and Western Railroad.
