OBIT TAYLOR, GEORGE SAMUEL, 101, OF DALEVILLE,

TAYLOR, George Samuel, 101, of Daleville, formerly of Salem, died Saturday, August 28, 1993, in a Salem Hospital. He was retired from the N & W Railroad, with fifty-one years of service. He was a deacon at the Roanoke Seventh Day Adventist Church. He is survived by three daughters, Wanda Mitchell, Daleville, Eula Foster, Chesapeake, Agnes Ratcliff, Portsmouth; a son, Joe Taylor, Chesapeake; a sister, Cora Jennings, Cleveland, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, August 31, 1993 at the Lotz Salem Chapel, with Pastor Jim Richards and Pastor John McGraw officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
