SPORTS CLUB'S `KICKOFF LUNCHEON'

The Blacksburg Sports Club will begin its 1993-94 club year Wednesday with its traditional "Kickoff Luncheon" at noon at Custom Catering, 902 Patrick Henry Drive.

Speakers are Virginia Tech head football coach Frank Beamer and Blacksburg High School head coach David Crist. Luncheon buffet will be $6.50; optional garden salad is available at $5.

Anyone interested in area college or high school sports may join the club. Dues are $10 a year and may be paid at this luncheon or at any Wednesday lunch. Call 953-2163 for reservations or information.
