OBIT-CRADDOCK, FLORA P.

CRADDOCK, Flora P., 87, of Ferrum, died Monday, August 30, 1993, in Eldercare of Franklin County. She was born April 6, 1906, the daughter of the late Douglas and Lillie Ingram Pendleton. She was a member of Church of God of the Prophecy of Rocky Mount and preceded in death by her husband, Charlie D. Craddock, and one son, Clarence E. Craddock. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Doshia) Foley of Ferrum, Frances Rogers of Stuart, Nancy Craddock of Ferrum, Mrs. Bobby (Margaret) Odell of Patrick Springs, and Mrs. Robert (Glenda) Shively of Rocky Mount; also surviving are four sons, Charlie Craddock of Martinsville, Pete Craddock, Lewis Craddock, and Curtis Craddock, all of Ferrum; one sister, Mamie Scott of Bassett; sixteen grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lynch Chapel by Bishop Charles W. Stanley with interment to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lynch Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
