OBIT-YOUNG, RACHAEL AMMEN

YOUNG, Rachael Ammen, of Salisbury, N.C., passed away August 29, 1993 at Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, N.C., after a short illness. She was formerly from Roanoke. Her parents were J. Neville Ammen Sr. and Edna P. Ammen. She was a graduate of Longwood College, Farmville. She is survived by her husband, Col. Braxton L. Young (Ret.); two daughters and one son-in-law, Cindy and James Archbell, Kitty Hawk, N.C., Christy LeMasters, LaGrange, Ga.; two grandsons, James Bryan and John Paul Archbell; two brothers, J. Neville Ammen, William G. Ammen, both of Roanoke. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Sommerset Funeral Home in Salisbury, N.C.
