BUCHANAN

anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Howard (Evelyn)Buchanan celebrated their 50th anniversary on September 4, 1993. The celebration was held at Grace Baptist Temple Fellowship Hall and was hosted by their children and grandchildren. The couple were married September 3, 1943 in Roanoke, Va. She is the former Evelyn Marie Hagy. Their children are the Rev. and Mrs. Dale (Beverly) Fogg of Paraguay, South America, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby (Patricia) Gilbert of Roanoke and Mr. Alan Buchanan of Roanoke. They have four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Buchanan is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mrs. Buchanan is retired from Roanoke Electric Steel.
