OBIT CRAWFORD, MYRTLE STATON

CRAWFORD, Myrtle Staton, 84, of New Castle, died Saturday, September 4, 1993, in a Roanoke nursing home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Crawford. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Lois Crawford of Sterling; a daughter and son-in-law, Nora and Corkey Rothrock of Paint Bank; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at Boitnott Funeral Chapel Monday, September 6 at 2 p.m. with interment in Crawford Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home. They request that contributions be made to Craig County Rescue Squad, or Hebron United Methodist Church, in lieu of flowers.
