OBIT HOWZE, LUCIAN H.

HOWZE, Lucian H., 91, of Roanoke, died at his home Monday morning, September 13, 1993. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. He had a career in advertiser and was a former employee of Lindsey-Robinson Co. and was retired from Stanford-Inge Advertising Co. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Anderson Howze, Roanoke; son and daughter-in-law, Larry H. and Joyce Howze, Waynesboro; sister, Mrs. Ted Heffron, Silver Springs, Md.; granddaughter, Holly S. Howze. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery at 3 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. David C. ("Kirk") Brown. The family suggests memorials be made to Housecall Hospice, 2167 Apperson Dr., Salem, Va. 24153. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
